The 24th Edition of El Sol is starting on the 28th of May and a new section, "El Sol Social", will try to make society aware of different social issues. This year, the festival and Yo Dona magazine will speak on "trafficking in women".

23 advertising agencies from Spain and Latin-America took part in the initiative and created an advertising campaign to report this social issue. They were published in the magazine's website and readers could vote for their favourite one.

However, the vote system suffered irregularities so there will not be any winner for the contest. The organizers will give a prize to AEAP in representation of all agencies. Yo Dona director and El Sol director signed a letter explaining the case.

Despite of this, the organizers undertake to celebrate this initiative in following years.
