Three years into the business, in 1993, Judy John was ranked Canada’s ‘Top Copywriter’ in Strategy’s creative report card. Her personal work has won recognition at virtually every major international and national awards competition including two Cannes Gold Lions, a One Show Pencil and Communication Arts.
Judy’s resume reads as a who’s who of top Canadian advertising agencies, ranging from the small, creative independents to the large multinationals. In addition to founding her own agency, Guerrilla TV, she has worked at Chiat/Day, TAXI, Roche Macaulay & Partners, BBDO and Ogilvy & Mather.

Judy joined Leo Burnett, Toronto in 1999 as Chief Creative Officer. She has been a judge at all of the national award shows. This year, Judy is vice-chairing The Bessies, Canada’s Television Advertising Awards and will be chairing the show in 2007.
