Manhattan-based design and branding firm Thinkso Creative presents the second episode of the Tell Me More interview series, featuring Lili Brown, the Chief Advancement Officer for Expeditionary Learning.
“Someone said we were the best school reform organization that no one knew about,” she says, explaining the impetus for rebranding after 17 years. The new identity united the staff, educators and school leaders, and supporters, many of whom contributed to the creative process. As a result, says Lili, “rebranding has built tremendous pride in who we are as an organization.” The new identity also won distinctive honors in the REBRAND 2011 competition.
Tell Me More covers a wide range of topics, from the struggles of launching a new business to merging product design with a socially conscious mission. Each video features an entrepreneur, marketing professional, or non-profit leader. Despite their differences, all the participants use design to achieve tangible business goals.
Expeditionary Learning is a school reform organization that partners with schools so that every student achieves academic success and develops the skills needed for college. Expeditionary Learning has been featured in The Huffington Post, The New York Times, The MetroWest Daily News, and more.
